I've thoroughly enjoyed reading this! Well done and congrats on finishing! XD

I'm sad to see this fic end, I've been enjoying it so much. Thank you for the work you put into it. I'll miss checking your tag every day for an update!

Thanks! Hopefully I'll be writing something cheerier soon!

As much as I'm disappointed it's ending, this is the perfect place for it. :) Lovely, lovely fic.

ohhh))) the dclaration was so simple and it was like boom, heaven failed at my head - great)) and heartbreakind as always))
keep up, dear

that was really great. Sad to see it end, but still, I enjoyed it so much. Well Done :D

Thanks! And now, hopefully, I'll be writing something cheerier.

I have enjoyed reading this fic very much and I hate to see it go. :( But you've got the perfect ending for it--not unreasonably fluffy with "sex fixes everything!", but the two of them together, knowing they will get through this. I especially love Sherlock's view of Sarah as an imbecile for not wanting John, regardless of what he could provide at the moment.

Thanks so much for sharing this with all of us.

Thanks! I could just picture Sherlock as 'she just let you go? Really? Well, clearly she is even more intellectually deficient than I'd assumed...'

This was excellent, very emotionally satisfying. It's a great story, and I've enjoyed reading it.

I'm sorry, but who the heck is Matthew?

Just a random name I threw in there.

I don't think I've commented yet, though I've been following this fic from the very beginning. All I really can say is that it is brilliant. You tell this story with so much sensitivity and realism, and they're both so incredibly in-character throughout. Thank you for not sugar-coating anything and giving us rainbows and unicorns and magical healing sex. Though I would love love love a sequel or anything more, I think you ended this in a perfect place.

Thanks for sharing this lovely piece. <3

Thanks! I'm not feeling particularly inclined towards a sequel at the moment, but we'll see how things go.

All of it was simply perfect, thank you for writing it ♥

I'm DEFINITELY NOT disappointed! I liked how you kept the Moriarty subtle appareances, the whole John/Sherlock friendship-love situation, breaking up with Sarah until the last episode and jst then Sherlock confessing his love in a very...Sherlockian way!
Very very good angsty/drama/intelligent/in character fic. Great work! =)

Thanks! I could just see Sherlock's 'confession' being very clinical and matter-of-fact.

I adore that Sherlock thinks that anyone who would accept a breakup with John must be an imbecile. The conversation around the declarations of love was so perfectly John and Sherlock. ♥

As much as I would like the fic to continue until Moriarty gets his brains blown out*, this is a good place to leave the story of Sherlock and John's relationship. It's enough to be satisfying, but with enough difficulty in the present and future to not feel cheap. (That said, I think there is still plenty of room for a sequel if you ever feel like it!)

*personally, I would rather not see Sherlock let loose to take the full nasty revenge he wants, because while Moriarty might deserve it, carrying out such brutality would not ultimately be a good thing for Sherlock or his relationship with John.

The fact that I've thought about this indicates just how absorbing this story is.

Thanks! And I'm of the same opinion; while Sherlock might desperately want to torture Moriarty to death, it isn't going to help in the long run.

I'm not feeling particularly inclined towards a sequel right now, but we'll see how it goes.

perfect ending, just perfect!!!!!!!!
I loved, how you split up their POV, and let us know, what they each felt, and it was sooooo them!
I even liked sarah, how calm and compose she already had figured that out!

Thanks! I loved writing those split POVs.

Thanks! And as the first story I unleashed upon the wilds of the internet, I can safely say that I'm very proud and pleased with how it turned out (my baby is all grown up/complete *sniffles tearfully*).

Wonderful, wonderful, brilliant. Have been following this story from the very start and its so nice to see it to a close. :) And a well written ending too, thank you so much! :)
