wow...
I mean, this is brilliant; my own hands are shacking for anger and distress while my eyes are wet, this is so touching.
congratulations for your enormous talent in writing and best wishes for you future :)

There is nothing I can say that hasn't already said, but I had to comment. This was just heartbreaking. I adore how you're handling these characters, and the situation.

I could write a lot of nice things about the way this chapter was written, the style, the pure angst and such, but i'm assuming other people might have already done that...so i'm just going to act like a spoil child and ask for MOOOOARRR PLEASE!!! AND SOON!

Thanks! Next part should be up soon!

I'm really enjoying this story and can't wait to read the next chapter.

+1 for not giving Sherlock the Magical Healing Penis.

This just keeps getting better.

Ohh... brilliant and brilliant and brilliant some more. Not an easy read, but a very good one.

This is so fantastically restrained, agonizing without being gratuitous. The characterization is incredible. And as soon as that pink phone rang, my heart started pounding -- the same way it was pounding during the final ten minutes of The Great Game, actually. I check for an update every other day as though I have no life, it's that nail-bitingly good.

The only thing keeping me from collapsing into a puddle of sadness while I wait is this thought: Moriarty just made Mycroft Holmes' little brother cry. He has no idea how ROYALLY SCREWED he is...

my heart is breaking reading this but I love it. The reactions, the emotions, descriptions... it's all amazing & fabulous.

I cannot wait until the next update.

Oh boys :(. Both so broken by what Moriarty did to John. I hope Sherlock listens to Mycroft this time. John needs his support, not to be left behind to pick up the pieces while Sherlock hunts Moriarty down. Also, it's fair to say that Sherlock's not in the right frame of mind to go after Moriarty, not with his emotions taking over and his body reacting without his conscious decision.

Laura.

Oh this was so heart-wrenchingly painful!
Absolutely brilliantly written

I literally gasped aloud when the pink phone rang with Moriarty calling to gloat. That is how involved in this story I am.

This is a difficult story to read, but you're getting all the characters so very well. Sherlock's belated realization that he'd been crying...god, my heart breaks for the pair of them.

*deep deep breath*
OMFG!!!!
TENSE AND VERY WELL WRITTIN CHAPTER*
but poor John..
and i think u get sherlock pretty well.. when u hurt the only person that really mean something (in every way) to him...
omfg
i love this fic!

I've been allowing myself to read a chapter of this as a treat after doing some work. This story, honestly it's just mesmerising.

I loved the description of Sherlock crying. Though it didn't state at first that he was crying, it was immediately clear. I loved that.

I actually gasped out loud at the line 'It was Moriarty'. Well done, you made me gasp!

This is wonderful... terrible of course but wonderful to read.
Now I need to do some more work...

> the world's scariest mother hen

Brilliant.
