Love this :D any sign of an update? :D:D

I've got a new job, so it might be a little while...

Not trying to rush you, I'm sure RL or the Muses are the cause, but there will be an epilogue, yes? I really want to see when Mycroft & Sherlock grovel (in their own Holmesian way) for forgiveness.

There will definitely be more of this, but I've started a new job recently, so it might be a little while...

Congratulations on the new job! I'll try to be extra patient for the epilogue.

This story is absolutely brilliant! I love the thought of Judi Dench as Sherlock and Mycroft's Mummy. The woman is completely badass and would be the perfect person to play Mummy Holmes.

John killing Jim was very in keeping with who he is... take torture long enough to save someone else and then kill the one responsible for all of the pain.

Sherlock and Mycroft have a great deal of apologizing to do, somehow I have a feeling that John will forgive Sherlock before Anthea is ready to forgive Mycroft.

I look forward to reading more of this soon.

Thanks! And you're probably right - after all, John and Sherlock weren't really established in a relationship, while Mycroft and Anthea are a very different story, and should be able to completely rely on each other by this point...

I saw that you've started a new job; I'm glad you're committed to finishing the story, because it's really not done yet! I'm glad you saw our hero and heroine safe before you had to take a break from it, though!

I hope the new job is going well, and I look forward to seeing more when you have time.

Before I even post the first chapter of a story, I've already planned out how it's going to end, so I'll never leave a story unfinished. It just might take a while...

Wow, Moriarty went to town on poor old John :(. But John turned the tables very satisfactorily! Take that, Moriarty!!!

And Anthea got herself free, too,, in a very ingenious way.

I'm glad they're free and relatively unharmed (for all John is hurting, it's pretty superficial- bruising and shallow cuts that will heal without any real trouble). Now, however, comes the emotional aftermath. John and Jane have endured a lot at Moriarty's hands, but I suspect that Sherlock and Mycroft's betrayal hurt the worst and will take the most time to heal... unless John and Jane continue their BAMFness and understand that the Holmses are dysfunctional and their belief in the frame-ups is more to do with their own issues than any distrust in John and Jane.

I kinda want them to have to grovel a bit, though...
