"What went wrong?”

*whaps John* Really?? Really??
Good thing he has the Holmes brothers to enlighten him. Although, good luck in getting past his stubborn-ness that he thinks he's nothing special :(

Another great chapter!

Thanks! I love writing John as this amazing guy who's convinced he's nothing out of the ordinary.

I stumbled on this by accident, but I just wanted to tell you that it was awesome in both plot and characterization.

uwah *__* i spent the last few hours reading this story and it has been time well-spent. I love all the daemon lore you expanded or invented, it fits really well, and whoa was that Moriarty scene intense. ♥

o_o I read everything from Chapter 1 through 10 today...

This is AMAZING. The character development and the way the original universe is weaved into this is beyond compare! I have never read a Sherlock/HDM crossover that expanded much past the aspect of dæmons; one or two that I've read may have had a off-handed mention of witches. Yet you managed to actually include witches, armored bears & alethiometers into this fic. AND OMG THE PLOT! GAH! JUST-GAH! NO.WORDS. <3<3<3<3 *Waits eagerly for more*

Thanks! I'm having a lot of fun weaving these two universes together...

Real life took me away from the internet for awhile; and I am very glad to find some terrific new chapters in your story. Sad to say, but Real Life just isn't as fun as your writing. (Well, I guess surviving a death spelled arrow wouldn't be fun, but you know what I mean, lol.)
I hope you are taking care of yourself, and that life is going well for you.

I have enjoyed this tremendously and I can see many others have as well. What a fascinating AU! You should consider getting this published professionally--it's incredibly unique and so well done.

I hope RL calms down for you soon. Best wishes to you and good luck. Thank you so much for sharing this fantastic story. What great fun!!

Thanks! And I'm about halfway through the next chapter, so it should be up soon...

I've spent the past few hours reading your wonderful work, and I am absolutely in love with your Sherlock and John.

I love you.

Thanks! And the next part is off being beta-d, so it should be up soon!

I just discovered this story. I read the whole thing in one great gulp and now I'm dying for more! Very well done!

And John – humble, self-effacing John, who never thought he was anything special even when it was shoved in his face – took one look at it and frowned.

“What went wrong?”

Oh, John, you big dork. ♥

Thanks! I love writing John as just completely oblivious to how amazing he is.

I just finished catching up with this series from the beginning. It. Is. Fabulous. I absolutely love His Dark Materials, and so I was a little wary when I saw this was a crossover, but its magnificent! The daemon-touching scene was beautiful. The only problem is that I've been spoiled by having 10 wonderful chapters to read, and now I have to wait for the next chapter :P Can't wait to see what happens!

Thanks! I love writing this crossover - dæmons put such an interesting twist on everything!

AAA MORE. And I mean that as politely as possible.

Thanks! And the next part is off with my beta, so it should be up soon!

This can just go on forever, that would be great thanks.

But seriously, best Sherlock crossover ever. It's flawless. You don't screw up any of the HDM lore, everything is placed so well into that world that it could be an offshoot of HDM canon.

I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see John use the alethiometer Lyra-style. You know he can read that thing easy peasy! I think Mycroft would try to steal him from Sherlock though hahaha.

Thanks! I'm having a lot of fun blending so many aspects of HDM into the Sherlock world...

*peeks* I'm back again, curious to know when there might be another chapter. Want to read more of this SOOOOOOOO MUCH!! :D

Thanks! And the next part is off being beta-d right now, so it should be up soon!
