Sherlock Fic - Reaction, Part Three
colourful, hills
Title: Reaction
Rating: R/NC-17
Disclaimer: I do not own these characters, and am making no profit from their use, more's the pity.
Warnings: Non-con and slash (Sherlock/John leanings in this part).
Summary: Written for a prompt on the kinkmeme: Before shoving him in the explosive vest, Moriarty fucked John, viciously. John makes it through the whole encounter with Moriarty and Holmes via his own badass soldier nerves of steel, but afterwards, when he and Sherlock are admitted to the hospital for minor burns and abrasions and shock, the hospital staff find other injuries on John.

It's scary how good this is! Glad you didn't let the rape-hiding run too long -- having Mycroft spot it was beautifully done.

Poor John! Wah, give us more! ;;

Next part should be up tomorrow!

Oh, poor, poor John! But I'm gladthat Sherlock knows at least. Having Mycroft explain everything was head-on fascinating, too.

Yes, I've been very mean to John in this...

thank you for this. you are amazing

Oh this was great!!!!Really great!!I'm addicted to this series now!!

Mycroft's deduction was elegant, but that's too cruel for John I think...
Love your John!Oh poor John...I'm desperate to know Sherlock's reaction! Please give me more!

Thanks! The way I see it, Mycroft wasn't being callous so much as refusing to condescend to John - he asked, so Mycroft answered.

i just found this story and i really like it. wow, very impressive, am eagerly awaiting more now! :)

This is really, really good. (there a large bit of me that is kind of uncomfortable saying so, because it's really, really not good events (that is, the events are horrific, but the writing is superb), but what the hell.)

Also; what does it say about me that when you wrote about the white power, my mind immediatly jumped to flour? (It burns really well and really quickly.)

Thanks! And I sort of pictured flour as well, at first, but then my sciency-mind insisted the friction from the bullet would have ignited it and they'd all have been blown up.

more please! this is fantastic

Thanks! Next part should be up tomorrow!

Oh Godasdsd bless new chapter!..

I like victim!John... <3 And want to see Sherlock's reaction, really-really want.

There'll be some of Sherlock's reaction in the next part.

Jeez, I'm sure that Mycroft meant well, but that was a bit of a dick move on his part. I kind of want someone to deck him. Possibly Sally could catch him off guard.

Same anon as before

Just to clarify... I think that John's plan to keep it a secret forever wasn't exactly the best, but that it wasn't really Mycroft's place to take that decision out of his hands, and the surprise injection is not cool. Seriously, John's had enough choices taken away from him today.

However, it's totally in character for Mycroft to do what he feels is best for everyone without consulting them first.

Just catching up... Still uncomfortable and brilliant angst...

The ending was so sad. I though Sherlock would find out later when they get to the hospital and I kept hoping Mycroft wasn't going to say that John was sexually assaulted, but that whole scene at the end was written so good so I just said, what the hack, lol.

I really liked the ending. Can't wait to read the next part.

Part of me wants to punch Mycroft and part of me wants to hug him. There really wasn't much hope of John hiding what happened to him for much longer, but it was up to him, not Mycroft.

Only, Mycroft has helped ease John's considerable pain and, although the circustances and the surroundings were not ideal, Mycroft's logical, clinical deductions at least stuck to the facts and didn't try to make John feel better or anything like that.

I liked John's thoughts on his reaction to Sherlock and how it differed to his reaction to everyone else.

Thanks! I figured Mycroft would probably be the one to spot that something was off (and with what Sherlock posted to his website, I'll never believe Mycroft wasn't aware of the meeting).

Well, I knew John wasn't going to be able to keep that a secret, but I was sure it was Sherlock who'd figure it out. Mycroft, gah, not a very sensitive way to ANNOUNCE it, although god knows everyone involved with getting John to the hospital needs to know because he could be bleeding very badly. He may well have assumed that Sherlock also already deduced it. And it does save John from having to tell the others, which would be very hard (and inevitable). Sherlock's reaction to John's wrists being hurt is very affecting; he can't take this well.

SUCH great writing from John's POV here, his reactions to everyone as he's trying to just get through it all, to physically keep standing and moving (and I am imagining military training here). He notices that everyone else being close to him makes him uncomfortable, but not Sherlock - he's thinking because he doesn't associate Sherlock with sex, but perhaps it's because he feels safe with Sherlock in general, since they've been through a number of dangerous situations together?

I'm very glad I checked back to see if you'd written any more after the second part!

I figure Mycroft would probably spot it before anyone else (I imagine Sherlock's still a little freaked out about the bomb-on-John thing).

And yes, I though John's military training would come into play here (it does kind of get you to ignore your own discomfort and keep going no matter what).
