I did a little happy dance when I found out that you posted a new chapter. Wow. I feel sorry for all of them and am curious as hell as to what happens next.

Thanks! And this part was certainly a bit angsty...and it may only get angstier.

I LOVE YOU IN WAYS WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS. There I said it. I'm now officially a creepy stalker but I don't care because you write amazing fic that fits not only perfectly into the Sherlock world we know and love but also perfectly with His Dark Materials and the wonder that is Philip Pullman. You are my hero, and I will be completely useless as I wait for another update.

Thanks! It's kind of weird, really - the dæmon world is so removed from our own that crossing it with Sherlock shouldn't work...and yet it's strangely appealing.

Oh god. I just read through all of this. :) I've never read any of the His Dark Materials books, but I've read enough fusions to understand what's going on. Your fic, however, is the first to make me really want to read the original books. :)

This is absolutely brilliant and I love the incorporations you've made with canon. Its beautifully written and I cannot wait for the next chapter! I'm literally at the edge of my seat!

Thanks! I tried to write it in such a way that reading the HDM books (or seeing the movie) wasn't required to enjoy the story.

*feels like in heaven*
great)) as always)))
thanks a lot for new chaps)))

Yes, it was a bit angsty, wasn't it?

And I love writing John as someone special, who's convinced he's nothing out of the ordinary.

While a podfic probably would be awesome and well-recieved, it's kind of a lot to ask someone to read, you know?

The body language from the dæmons makes the emotions of the characters come through so much more intensely. The tension's ramped up to almost unbearable levels - can't wait for more!

Thanks! I always thought that dæmons would enhance almost every kind of interaction.

This is so depressingly wonderful on John's part, really and honestly. Glorious character descriptions, as always, and I really like how John and Mycroft interact too :)

Thanks! And I'm definitely delving deep into angst territory now...

Love, love, LOVE this fic!

The first half of this was so lovely (full of win!!). I just love that John and Risa always find some way to surprise the Holmes brothers without even knowing he's doing it.

The second half, when are Sherlock and Raniel going to "wake up" to how they're treating John and Risa? I'm so ready to slap the both, but the really sad thing about it is that Risa and John just take it like this is all they deserve, sigh.

Can't wait to find out more about the prophecy and any other gifts John and Risa may have. Please don't leave it so long for the next one..

Thanks! And there probably *will* be a while before the next one - what with all the floods, it's going to take a while before everyone's back on schedule.

i love this story so much every time you update its like my birthday has come, start off with joy, then excitement as i start reading then i yell at my computer when it ends like the computers fault ;)

whoooo! an update! I love how you've worked the episodes into this, though I'll be equally intrigued if you take it past TGG. Can't wait for more :)

Thanks! And this story *will* be continuing past TGG - I have too many plot points NOT too.

Lovely update. I really loved during TGG the tension between Sherlock and John and the back and forth about caring- and you've incorporated it wonderfully. I'm intrigued by the mystery surrounding John and can't wait for the story to move past TGG and see where you take it.

Thanks! I, too, loved the undercurrents of emotion that just seethed throughout TGG - as you can tell, by the way I decided to explore them.
